1. The color difference of the printing product caused by the wrong use of the anilox roller configuration

In the production process, it is often the case that the same product is printed repeatedly due to customer orders. When the printing plate, paper, and ink are not replaced, the printed product is different from the previous batch: either the hue is darker or the hue is lighter, and the ink cannot be very close to the sample after repeated deployment. At this time, we consider the configuration and use of the anilox roller-in the group with color difference, check whether the anilox roller with the same lpi and bcm as the previous printing is used. As a result, it was found that the operator was careless and did not use the anilox roller from the previous printing, which caused the color difference of the printed product. The problem was solved after adjusting the anilox roller.

From the above experience, we can establish a product file in production. When producing qualified products for the first time, we must clearly record the lpi and bcm of each color using the anilox roller to avoid losses caused by confusion in future production.

The anilox roller is the core of the flexo printing machine. The daily maintenance system of the anilox roller must be strictly implemented during daily production. It is regularly cleaned with a soda powder cleaning machine to ensure the ink load of the anilox roller; the anilox roller is regularly measured with a dial indicator Check the bearing for excessive gaps, such as clogged ink holes of the anilox roller. When printing a large area on the ground, it will make the printed product appear chromatic aberration. When printing fine screen products, the dots will be lost, and the anilox roller will jump. When measuring, the light will make the fine network cable products partially paste, affecting the quality, and the heavy will greatly reduce the life of the printing plate or damage the printing plate.

2. Color difference caused by paper

At present, flexographically printed beer trademarks use a large amount of aluminized paper, of which the most commonly used is 71g glossy and embossed aluminized paper.

We know that even the quality of aluminized paper produced by the same manufacturer is different. For example, the brightness of the glossy surface is different, the embossing has different embossing depths, and brings changes in brightness, which causes chromatic aberration to printed products .

For example, if we print "fake gold" (Pantone 32C + Y + diluent) on glossy aluminum paper, the product printed on aluminum paper with good brightness can be said to be "Golden glitter", and the product printed on the aluminum paper with poor brightness appears "dull and dull". Another example: when printing large-area solid or screen lines on embossed aluminized paper, the solid and bright paper printed on the light embossed and bright brightness, the anti-silver (paper color) number 8 is also clear, and the dots can Very good transfer. Conversely, the solid printed on the paper with deep embossing and poor brightness appears to be uneven and has "dark bright spots" interlaced with light and dark, and because the paper has deep concave and convex lines, it also makes anti-silver text less than No. 8 Blurred, a lot of printing dots are lost.

This shows that when the same anilox roller and ink are used, the products printed due to paper factors are somewhat different. In particular, some 120-150 line fine aluminum-coated paper trademarks require that this important feature of paper be taken into account when designing the original. According to the requirements of different trademarks, the corresponding paper should be selected. If conditions permit, it is necessary to sample and observe first, and it can be produced after approval by the customer.

Due to its unique environmental protection, flexographic printing is becoming the most vital way in packaging printing.
