[Boutique Appreciation] Italy old name Gucerciotti | Eureka SHM50

The professional bicycles are always dominated by big brands, such as lightning, Canyon, Trek, and Giant, but there are also some less well-known brands that sponsor top team drivers.
Sometimes mashups are a fun thing, and the driver Grzegorz Stepniak thinks so, so there is the Gucerciotti Eureka SHM50.
The Italian brand has been producing bicycles since 1964, sponsoring teams that have succeeded in road cross-country competitions.
This car was ordered for the Polish team CCC, adding a dazzling orange to today's team.

As an Italian brand, we assume that it will match the CP kit – and in fact we see the Shimano DA Di2 kit. The Ursus MiuraT45 wheelset used in the entire vehicle is also rare on the world stage. It is paired with Vittoria's famous Evo Corsa tires, which will make the car lose one watt of power in vain.

The group position of Deda's alloy Zero 100. Alloy bends are very popular today at UCI's 6.8 kg weight limit, which provides better protection for drivers than carbon fiber products.

The mottled traces on the Stepniak chariot made the violent collisions and difficult days in the large group of riders stand out. Look carefully at the clamps, the seat and the tires, all with scratches. But it is not these scars that make the car look tougher.

The Ursus Miura T45 wheel set is not a normal choice, showing the owner's extraordinary taste. (Of course, it may be that the sponsor’s money has arrived.)

What makes it different is that it fits the Simano DA di2 kit. It's a bit strange to be an Italian car. People expect that the Italian car is always equipped with a CP kit.

Deda provided the car with a set, and many drivers will choose the alloy to meet the minimum weight of UCI 6.8 kg, which will improve the safety of the car.

Gucerciotti's brand story

First Gucerciotti was a living Italian who named the competitive road bike brand under his name.

The story of Guerciotti is really a real life. He is attached to the bicycle and works hard in the bicycle industry, just like those who become carpenters and stonemasons - in order to support his livelihood and to feed a young and old.

In fact, the success of Paolo Guerciotti is largely due to the variety of cycling competitions, whether it is road, time, or off-road competitions. Although his studio was only opened in 1964, his resume was much earlier.

"I have participated in the competition for minors since 1961. In the five years, the roads and time trials won more than 80 games. In 1966, I started various off-road competitions. In the next 14 years, I won 62 times, including the regional championships of 1971 and 1972, and the Italian national championship of 1971.” Guerciotti recalls.

When his driver's career was brilliant, he began to use his influence to run his business. In 1964, he rented a small 20-square-meter house in Via Petrella as his studio, separated from Milan's railway station by a few intersections. Later, it gradually grew into a factory with an annual output of 2,000 steel frames and 400 vehicles.

In the middle of 1970, Guerciotti's bicycles made a name for themselves around the world. They are very famous in the United States, and in 1980 they were on the national bicycle magazine.

In 1983, Guerciotti identified the main organizational structure, the commercial product segment and the competition department. In 2000, Paolo's son Alessandro joined the company, and 35 years later the company moved to Via Petrocchi, where Milan is now.

Guerciotti was one of the first manufacturers to use aluminum alloy materials. His lightweight body provides a lot of convenience for those off-road drivers. On some roads, those drivers must have to pick up the car, and the lightweight body is awesome in this respect. Long-term service for the first-line team, customized frame for the drivers inside the team, Guerciotti has maintained continuous innovation and excellent performance. There is no doubt that nothing can separate Guerciotti from the game.
