Constant temperature shaker instruction manual
Before starting the operation, place the sample you wish to shake onto the tray holder. Connect the power cables to the machine's power socket and turn on the power switch. Once the switch is activated, the indicator light (usually labeled "ON") will illuminate, confirming that the power is on. The timer will then start counting down based on the time you have set (refer to the timer manual for instructions). At the same time, the temperature-controlled heating section will also begin operating. A red indicator light shows that the heater is active, while a green light indicates that the heating has stopped. The number displayed on the screen reflects the actual temperature inside the chamber, and the 0–99.9 setting allows you to choose the desired temperature. If you need to maintain a specific temperature, simply select the required value.
To initiate shaking, press the oscillation control button to activate the shaking mechanism. You can adjust the oscillation speed between 0 and 300 revolutions per minute (rpm) depending on your experimental needs.
Setting the Temperature:
Turn on the temperature control system and press the "SET" button to enter the temperature adjustment mode. When the digital display starts flashing, it means you are in the setting state. Use the â–³ key to increase the set point and the â–½ key to decrease it. Holding either key for a few seconds will allow for faster adjustments. Press the "SET" button again to exit the setting mode and return to normal operation. (Note: If the temperature controller is an intelligent model, please refer to the separate temperature control manual for detailed instructions.)
Adjusting the Speed:
Power on the speed control system and use the inverter to operate the device. Press the "RUN" button on the panel and gradually adjust the potentiometer to reach the desired shaking speed. If you need to stop the process, press the "STOP" button. To resume, press "RUN" again. To change the speed, simply adjust the potentiometer to the new setting.
Important Safety and Usage Notes:
Ensure that the power supply includes a reliable grounding wire. Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the electrical components unless you are a qualified technician.
If the shake flask becomes damaged during the experiment, clean it immediately to prevent any corrosive liquid from damaging the shaker.
Do not move the constant temperature shaker while it is in operation.
If the instrument remains in the "cooling" mode for an extended period, it should be periodically heated to prevent moisture buildup. Every 15 days, reset the temperature to 40°C, open the chamber door, and let the unit run in the heating mode for at least 4 hours. This helps remove accumulated moisture inside the cabinet.
If the equipment is not used for a long time—especially during humid seasons—it is recommended to power it on for 5–8 hours periodically to prevent moisture damage to internal electrical components.
