Silk Screen Printing Analysis - Color Transfer

12. Color transfer

On a printed fabric composed of a plurality of colors, one or more patterns of colors do not match the hue of the pattern printing paste, and there is a significant color difference, which is called a color transfer.

Reasons: 1 When two patterns of different colors are connected, the pattern area of the pattern printed first is larger and the slurry is given more, so that the pattern is infiltrated or piled on the fabric. The printed plate after printing is pressed to make These pastes, which are first printed on the fabric, enter the plate through the plate mesh, causing discoloration of the paste in the plated printing plate. 2 During the printing process, there is a serious “edge stain”, which causes more color paste to be piled on the printing table outside the edge of the fabric or on the edge of the fabric. When the printed pattern of the back print is in contact with or adjacent to it, the color paste passes through the pattern net. Holes enter the plate to discolor the color paste. When the printing plate is changed to a different hue, the unsaturated paste remains in the plate or in the gap of the squeegee. When the squeegee is in operation, these residual pastes are mixed into the paste in the plate to discolor the paste.
