The internal structure of the low-temperature bath includes key components such as a compressor, condenser, evaporator, internal and external fans, a circulating water pump, a stainless steel inner tank, a heating element, and an intelligent temperature control system. The operating principle involves a refrigeration cycle: after the compressor starts, it compresses the refrigerant, which then condenses, expands, and evaporates, absorbing heat from the water inside the tank. This process lowers the water temperature to the set point on the temperature control panel. If the set temperature is higher than ambient, the contactor activates the heating element to maintain the desired level.
To use the low-temperature thermostat, ensure that the power supply is 220V AC with a rated current of at least 10A and that a proper grounding device is in place. When adding water, make sure the water level is at least 8cm below the top cover. Use soft water, preferably distilled water, to avoid damaging the heating element. Never use hard water like well water or river water, as this can reduce the sensitivity of the temperature control and potentially cause damage.
Before turning on the device, always refer to the manual for correct temperature settings. First, power on the unit, set the desired temperature, and once the target temperature is reached, activate the circulation switch to start normal operation.
Some important usage precautions include:
1. Always fill the front tank with a liquid medium, ensuring the level is at least 30mm below the work surface to prevent damage to the heater when powered on.
2. Choose the right liquid based on the working temperature:
- For temperatures between 5°C and 85°C, use water.
- For temperatures between 85°C and 95°C, use a 15% glycerol solution.
- For temperatures above 95°C, use oil with a flash point at least 50°C higher than the working temperature.
3. Ensure the power supply is 220V, 50Hz, and has sufficient capacity. A good grounding system is essential.
4. Place the instrument in a dry, well-ventilated area, keeping at least 300mm of space around it.
5. Avoid opening the upper cover when the bath is at high temperatures, and never enter the tank to prevent burns.
