1. Hardware device connection. Connect the printer data cable to the computer and power it on.

c. Download the driver file yourself, download the 32-bit and 64-bit systems through this network disk, and select the driver installation.

3. Run the driver, double-click "PrnInst.exe" in the decompression directory to install, click "Install Printer"

4. "Select Printer", the manufacturer (M) selects "ZDesigner", and the printer (P) selects "ZDesignerGK888t".

Note: You cannot select "ZPL" or "EPL" here, otherwise it may cause you to not print. Once you have made your selection, click "Next"

5, "printer options", available ports here to choose "usb001", if not, you can not choose first. The language selects "Simplified Chinese". Click "Next"

6, "Other installation options", there are two selection boxes below can not be selected, click "Finish".

7. The printer driver is installed. Open the computer's control panel, where you can see the newly installed Zebra GK888t thermal printer. Right click on "ZDesignerGK888t" and click on "Printing Preferences" to enter the size of your thermal paper. I am using 10*10E mail treasure here, so set the width to: 10.0 and the height to: 10.0. The settings here do not have to be the same as those I set, and should be set according to the actual thermal paper size.

8. Click the “Advanced Settings” tab of the “Printing Preferences” interface to set the label paper type to “Thermal”. Click the "Correct" button and the printer will automatically eject the paper to detect the size of the thermal paper. After the test is completed, the installation is complete.

Second, zebra printer fault repair method

1. The printing stops, the paper/ribbon light is on, the pause light is on, and the data light is on: the paper is used up while printing, there is data in the machine, you need to change the paper before you can continue printing.

2. The label is not cut by the cutter: it is not set to the cut mode; the cutter is loose;

3, long white strips in several labels: color with wrinkles;

5. There is a label in the paper cutter; the paper cutter is stuck: the upper cutter is turned over, the label is withdrawn, the power is turned on to reset the cutter, and then the paper is reset;

6, Power light does not light: no power, whether the power insurance is blown;

7. Printing stops, the pause light is on, and the paper/ribbon light is flashing: the ribbon is used up or installed incorrectly;

8. The printing stops, the pause light is on, and the print head light is on: the print head is overheated, shut down, and the printing is paused;

9, the label length is not accurate: clean the Sensor, adjust the Media Sensor and Calibrate once;

10. The print label record is lost: the label sensor is not adjusted well;

12. There are oblique white strips: the color has wrinkles;

13, poor printing results: adjust the print head pressure or Darkon (grayscale);

14, ribbon wrinkles: the ribbon path is not correct; the installation is not flat or choose the incorrect print depth, pressure 13, one or three labels are not positioned: switch the print head, the label installation is not allowed;

15. The calculator sends the data to the printer, the printer does not move, the DATA light flashes and then goes off: the serial port checks whether the communication parameters of the printer and the calculator are consistent;

16. The pause light is on; the paper/ribbon light is on: the paper is used up or the installation is incorrect;

17, the cutter did not completely cut the label: the paper cutter is too dirty; the cutter is too blunt; used too long, mechanical wear;

18, the print area on the paper has a white strip: the print head is bad, change the print head;

19. Skip a label when printing and continue printing: the distance between this label and the previous label is abnormal, and the machine is normal;

20, the power light does not light; other lights do not light after booting; one of the correction light, position light, depth light does not disappear: the machine is faulty, please contact the supplier;

21, the print head light is on: the print head Sensor file is loose or the new one is not Calibrate after another sign;

22, vertical lines on the label: the print head is too dirty, clean the print head with an alcohol swab after shutdown;

23, the difference between the left and right print depth: the pressure balance between the print head has problems;

24, the label walks: adjust the pressure of the print head, so that the left and right sides are evenly stressed;

25, the calculator sends data to the printer, the printer does not move, the DATA light does not flash: the printer does not receive the data, check the cable, otherwise there should be a problem with the printer interface, the serial printer self-test is normal, but can not print online, may be on the motherboard The U51 (105S) component (Max232) integrated block is damaged. If it is S500, the U28 on the motherboard may be damaged.
