Fluorescence modification of old-fashioned microscope
Mr. Zhou from Sichuan University is primarily engaged in plant research. He currently uses an old Olympus BH-2 biological microscope, but due to the increasing demands of his experiments, he now needs to incorporate fluorescence observation capabilities. However, his budget is limited, so he is looking for a cost-effective solution that still meets all the requirements of his research.
After learning about Mr. Zhou’s needs, our engineer Mingmei proposed a practical and affordable option for adding fluorescence imaging to his existing microscope. Through a live demonstration and hands-on operation, the team showcased how the high-sensitivity fluorescent camera MC21 could be integrated with the old microscope. The results exceeded Mr. Zhou's expectations—achieving excellent fluorescence imaging quality without the need for a complete system replacement.
This low-cost upgrade not only fulfilled the experimental requirements but also significantly reduced the financial burden.
