Output production methods and characteristics

There are many ways of outputting digital stereoscopic printing technology. There are a few stereoscopic output methods that are often used. They have these characteristics:

1. Digital inkjet output

The characteristics of inkjet output are the best way to print samples and output in small batches. It is suitable for the output of stereoscopic images, and the production of small-format rollovers (due to the machine's slight displacement in printing). The disadvantage is that manual printing is required. The speed is slow and the ink storage time is short, but the long-term outdoor storage time can be obtained by the solvent type printer output.

2. Digital printing

Digital flat printing is a single-sheet printing and printing equipment. Advantages: Direct printing without manual painting, no film, fast printing, long storage time, no accumulated displacement, colorful and so on. It is suitable for processing gratings of various visual effects. The disadvantage is that the equipment is expensive and the printing costs are high. According to relevant sources, the peak demand for digital plane printing will erupt in 2004.

3. Screen printing

Screen printing is a traditional printing method. The advantage is that the mass production cost is the lowest. It can be directly printed without manual painting, the printing speed is fast, the storage time is long, there is no accumulated displacement, and the color is bright. It is suitable for processing gratings of various visual effects. Disadvantages are: may appear reticulate, need to make film, not suitable for the output of the sample and the operation of the printing technology is more critical.

4. Digital Printing Technology

Digital printing is a semi-traditional ultra-high output quality output method, using digital color laser lithography; China and India direct digital output, no film, long storage time, excellent color, high definition, suitable for high-grade products Output production, the disadvantage is that the production cost is high, the speed is slow, the need for artificial painting and so on.

5. Digital printing

Digital presses have become increasingly popular, but due to the limitations of output size, they are generally suitable for small-size applications. Digital presses have a variety of different output methods. Some machines can use UV inks directly printed on grating materials (for example, INDIG0 digital presses manufactured by Hewlett-Packard Co.), which is extremely suitable for sample printing and personalized production.

However, some digital printers may need to be printed on a certain material before being transferred to the grating material. Because digital presses do not require plate making, they are particularly suitable for sample making and small batch production.

6. Traditional printing

Due to the popularity of traditional offset presses, it has the advantage of extremely high precision and automated mass production. So this method is still the best choice for printing large quantities of finished products. Its advantages are: accurate positioning, high precision, bright colors, long storage time, and can be directly printed by grating.

The disadvantages are: plate making is not suitable for sample output production. However, the use of digital printing presses and traditional offset printing presses to complement each other is the best choice for the output of gratings. Another CTP computer plate making technology is also ideal without the printing method of the film, can make the traditional printing machine semi-digital.
