As an important paper packaging container, corrugated carton has been widely used. As far as carton printing is concerned, although there are many printing methods, at present, China still prints mainly in flexographic ink, and its printing operation is relatively simple. No further details are given here. This article will focus on some details that operators need to pay attention to in the process of water-based printing of corrugated boxes, so as to avoid unnecessary waste of materials due to improper operation.
First, the preparation of printing (1) Before starting the machine, we must first start the air compressor, so that the compressor gas tank has enough air pressure, the water-based printing press can lock the car, anilox roller lift, start the diaphragm pump and other work .
(2) Plates used in water-based printing of corrugated boxes mainly include rubber plates and photosensitive resin plates. The rubber Plate is usually 7mm thick, and the thickness of the photosensitive resin plate has a variety of different specifications, such as 2.54mm, 3.94mm, and 4.32mm.
In the actual production process, if different types or sizes of plates are used on the same printing plate, the layout height of the plate may not be the same, and the partial printing pressure will also be inconsistent, thereby affecting the printing quality. There have been problems such as the lack of printability of the ink, the darkness of the graphic and ink, and the serious distortion of graphics and text.
Therefore, it is necessary to adjust the height of the printing plate layout, paste the corresponding thickness of the backing material on the back of the thin plate, so that the printing plate surface is flat and uniform in height. Of course, it is best to use the same type and specification of plates for the same layout.
(3) The water-based printing press adopts a short-ink ink circulation system, as shown in FIG. 1 . Water-based inks form a closed loop in this system, namely:
Ink cartridges - ink-absorbing tubes - diaphragm pumps - ink reservoirs - ink troughs formed by the squeezing of rubber rollers and anilox rollers - ink return tubes - (flow back) ink cartridges.
Therefore, when the operator prepares the ink, it is necessary to pay attention to: first make the anilox roller rise (disengagement from the plate cylinder), then start the diaphragm pump to absorb ink, and finally start the rubber roller motor (work). The purpose of this is to avoid ink-free rotation between the rubber roller and the anilox roller, which wears the rubber roller and the anilox roller.
(4) Adjust the rear limit position of the push plate. First, the front edge of the corrugated board is aligned with the front board, and then the rear limit position of the push board is adjusted according to the rear edge of the corrugated board. The working position of the push-pull board requires that the rear edge of the corrugated cardboard fall exactly on the inclined surface of the push-pull board, as shown in FIG. 2 . Otherwise, the following two conditions will occur:
1 When the rear limit position of the push board is adjusted forward, the push board will not achieve the function of pushing corrugated board within the range of its working range;
2 When the extreme position of the push-cardboard is adjusted backwards, the push-cardboard will have a cardboard skew. Rotten paper even stuck paper feed failure.
Second, the printing operation (1) boot printing, first start the printing press host, until the printing plate rotation, and then lower the anilox roller to the printing plate for ink. This is because the rubber roller of a water-based printing press is driven by a separate motor and is always in a rotating state. If the printing machine is not started during the printing process, the stationary printing plate cylinder is brought into contact with the anilox roller (as shown in the figure. As shown in Fig. 3), the printing plate layout will appear to pile up ink.
(2) When axially adjusting the plate cylinder in the printing register, it is best to wait until the plate cylinder stops rotating. Otherwise, the adjustment handwheel will rotate with the plate cylinder, and the adjusted displacement amount is not easily grasped, thus failing to achieve ideality. The adjustment effect.
Third, the safe operation (1) Before starting the printing machine host, must first set the speed setting knob of the printing press in the "0" position. When carrying out carton printing, slowly turn the "Speed ​​setting" knob clockwise to increase the printing speed and make the equipment run smoothly to prolong its service life. Similarly, before shutting down, the printing speed must be gradually reduced to zero speed before shutting down.
(2) During the entire process of carton printing, the air compressor must always be open. Only in this way, the air compressor will automatically start when the air pressure is insufficient, keeping the working air pressure stable. Otherwise, the printer will suffer from the following failures due to insufficient air pressure:
1 Insufficient strength of the anilox roller, uneven ink on the printing plate;
2 The diaphragm pump of the inking system stops working and the ink suction is interrupted;
3 The separation or closing lock cannot be achieved between the sheet feeding device and the printing unit or between the printing units.
(3) When the separation between the paper feeding device and the printing unit or between the printing units needs to be separated, the main engine must be fully stopped before it can be performed. Otherwise, the phase of the transmission gear will be misaligned with each other, and when it closes again, there will be bumps. The printer could not be closed and locked.
(4) When an operator removes or dismounts a printing plate or cleans a plate layout operation, it is necessary to separate the sheet feeding device from the printing unit or between the printing units, and then press the "lock car" button to lock the input. Paper devices and printing units to prevent accidents. It is necessary for operators to develop good operating practices and not to cope with the moment.
(5) The correct operating procedure is: first turn on the printer power supply, then start the air compressor, and then print. Preparation of ink and corrugated board. Wait until the above work is completed in order, you can start the host presses, and gradually increase the speed of the printing press, and then press the "Anilox roller down" button <that is, supply ink to the printing plate), and then press the "Exhaust feed paper" Press the button to test it.
(6) The correct shutdown operating procedures are: stop the air-drawing feed first, then press the “Anilox Roll Up” button (that is, stop supplying ink to the printing plate), gradually reduce the printing machine's running speed until the speed is zero, and finally Press the "Stop" button to stop the printer from running.
