US Invents Two New Food and Beverage Packaging Resins

Equistar Chemicals of the United States has invented two new resins that can be used in various food and beverage packaging. The new resin is said to improve clarity, which is crucial for use in food containers, beverage bottles, and health product packaging. Millad 3988 Clarifying Carrier is one of the widely used carriers for polypropylene. It is recognized for its characteristics of clarification, reduced density, increased tension, and improved cost efficiency. Both of these new resins have these characteristics.

PP30HF01 and PP33HF04 meet the requirements of the Food and Drug Administration and can therefore be used in the production of food storage containers and food-related safety covers.
