Self-heating packaging bags will appear in Europe

According to reports from the packaging industry, a kind of self-heating packaging bag will be displayed on the European market, and consumers will be able to drink steamy soup in a busy hour.

The new packaging was developed jointly by Belgian packaging supplier EPOCA and Korean technology developer KSP Technologies, which represents a major change in the food and beverage industry. The EPOCA has always wanted to bring Asia's self-heating technology to the European market to meet the needs of Western European markets. According to Pira, a British packaging consulting company, this self-heating bag will be put into the European market by the end of 2005.

The self-heating bags designed by KS Technologies have been marketed in the Asia-Pacific region including Malaysia and South Korea for the packaging of herbal medicines, but EPOCA believes it has great potential in the soup, coffee, and tea industries.

At present, the temperature at which this package can be heated is only 35°C, which cannot meet the needs of beverage heating. KSP has combined with EPOCA to raise the temperature to 60°C - 70°C. The final draft is expected to be completed within 6 months.

This kind of bag contains a special ingredient. When you press the button outside the bag, a chemical reaction inside will heat the product. The bags are made of polyester, polyethylene, and aluminum, respectively, as required. For ease of reference, straws are also provided on the outside of the package.

This packaging bag is the latest product in the self-heating innovative packaging series that can influence the packaging industry. Recently, the food processor Lakeside has used the self-heating packaging container developed by OnTech of the United States for the packaging of coffee, tea, cocoa powder and soup to expand. The impact of this technology in the fast food industry.

This product is easy to carry, can be used in conjunction with the cup holder, the product can be kept warm for more than 30 minutes, without preheating, mixing and cleaning. As long as you press it gently, the self-heating container can heat the product to 145 degrees Fahrenheit in one minute.

The fast food industry is still the most influential sector in the food industry today. The European market alone consumes 480,000 metric tons per year. OnTech and OnTech hope that this technology can attract the attention and cooperation of relevant manufacturers to promote the development of the fast food industry.
