In the following 30 years, the scientific community has not made significant progress in this regard. The breakthrough made by the Guangzhou scientists has caused tremendous shocks at home and abroad.
Reduce the cost of pollution and reduce the plastic can be produced by ordinary technology, after processing can also become our daily disposable cutlery, fresh film, etc., some performance is better than now common plastic. Taking the commonly used degradable lunch boxes on the market as an example, using starch production, the cost of a lunch box is as high as RMB 0.14 to RMB 0.15, which is difficult to promote; and the cost of manufacturing a lunch box using the plastic developed using this technology is only RMB 0.083. The cost is quite low, and it will not cause "white pollution" to the environment.
The carbon dioxide plastics project has now been listed as a key scientific and technological project for Guangzhou, and the Guangzhou municipal government has allocated more than 5.8 million yuan for funding. It is expected that the future market experts believe that the technology can produce industrial waste gas carbon dioxide into biodegradable plastics that are beneficial to the environment, and the plastics produced have a good market prospect and are expected to become common plastic varieties in the future.
